Good evening, lovers of poetry! We are with you binds the single love of poetry and, in particular - to the poetry of A. Pushkin, the love of the poet himself, whose birthday.

We are celebrating today.

The greatness of Pushkin, as a person, can not be overestimated. The rumor about him passed not only "throughout Russia great," but throughout the world.

Many states of the world consider Alexander to be their poet and, even, establish monuments to him.

633 of the author of World Literature (as far as I know) have devoted their poems to the poet.

Most briefly, but quite capacious about the work of Pushkin poet Nikolai Rubtsov:

Like a mirror of the Russian element,
Having defended his appointment,
He repulsed the whole soul of Russia!
And he died, reflecting it.

The inhabitants of city Orel have the right to be proud of Alexander Pushkin, because the roots of his genealogy go back to the depths of the centuries and are connected with the Orel region.

Here are a few facts obtained by Orel regional specialists:
In 1606 under Kromy in the troubled times the ancestors of the poet Afanasy Pushkin and his uncle Leonty Pushkin perished;

In the 1640s Peter the Great served as a voivode in Mtsensk; Pushkin;
In Bolkhov lies the remains of the ancestor of the poet, the voevoda Ivan Rzhevsky, who died in battle with the Turks in 1678;

In 1795, General Kvashnin-Samarin built a church in the village.
Foam, near Trosny. He was the cousin of Pushkin's grandmother Maria Pushkina (Hannibal);

In Orel the heroine of his poem was born A. Kern.

In an attempt to travel to the town of Arzrum, Pushkin chose a route through the city of Orel. The purpose of the passage through the Orel he saw in the visits to places associated with his relatives and friends, as well as to meet with "half-feathered" General Ermolov.

Alexander was by nature very amiable and, in the words of his biographers, he was genius in love, perhaps no less than in poetry.
Therefore, in the vast majority of his poems, the theme of love is revealed not only with all ingenuity, but also with nobility. And not the bed scenes described by Pushkin, as it is practiced by modern authors, and not today - one, and tomorrow - another. Love in his works is shown pure, bright, based on devotion, fidelity and, if you like, on self-sacrifice if necessary.

Alexander Pushkin visited the Oryol region and, leaving, scattered the grain of his poetic talent in the fertile land of the Oryol region, which soon grew a whole cohort of writers and poets who glorified not only their small Homeland but the country as a whole.
